【This tour takes you to “Shiroi Koibito”, which is one of the most popular tourist spots in Sapporo, and you can enjoy a relaxing walk around Otaru Canal and Kitaichi Glass.】
You will first head for Otaru City from the Sapporo Kita Interchange. Enjoy a walk around Kitaichi Glass and Kitaichi Venezian Museum.。
Kitaichi Glass is the historical building built in 1891, which sells colorful glass wares. There is a café “Kitaichi Owl” illuminated with mystical lump where visitors can rest. Near to the Kitaichi Glass, you can drop by the famed sweets shop of Hokkaido such a “Kitakaro(LeTAO)” and Otaru Music Box Museum built half-timbered during Meiji era, which sells lots of orgels collected from over the world. You can hear a unique melody of a big steam clock every 15 minutes in front of the building.
After, you will visit Shiroi Koibito Park in the evening which is illuminated from late November to late February.
It houses a chocolate factory which brings back fond memories of medieval Britain. Of particular interest to many visitors is a cheddar house where you can buy the baked fresh sweets from its factory. You can also visit a gramophone gallery where you can find interests in the beautiful form and material of gramophone.
You can visit both tourist spots of Sapporo and Otaru in 5 hours and have a relaxing time for busy bees at a reasonable price.

- ①Show the bus ticket stub at the Kitakaro and get a set of two “Hamanasu no Koi” cookies.
- ※②When tour bus can’t get there before 17:00 due to closure of expressway, you can’t enter the facility of Shiroi Koibito Park. (In this case, passengers will receive a pack of three Mifuyu cookies.) Bus will stop for rest and shopping for 30 minutes.
