This is the most reasonable tour which takes you to Lake Shikotsu Hyobaku Festival and Kitayuzawa Meisui Tei. This includes the buffet-style dinner featured with major crabs such as snow crab and hairy crabs, and hot spring.
You will first visit “Lake Shikotsu”and “Kitayuzawa Meisui Tei”. The Lake Shikotsu is well known for the clarity of its water and the second deepest lake after Lake Tazawa in rich and wild nature. Due to its depth, it is said that it became the northernmost ice-free lake in Japan.
The Lake Shikotsu Hyobaku Festival will be held along the lakeside of Lake Shikotsu.
At the festival site, about 30 fantastic ice sculptures made out from the water of Lake Shikotsu with sprinkler spray are displayed. The daylight color of the lake water, which is called “Shikotsuko Blue”, attracts many tourists. Then on to the Kitayuzawa Meisui Tei, you will have a dinner.
And, you can enjoy the luxurious buffet dinner featured with a wide variety of local fresh foods and the three major crabs.
